We are still here

We mourn the departure of many of our brothers and sisters in Christ who did what they thought was right. We love them and pray for them and wish them well as they join the Southern Cone.

We, however, are not going anywhere. We ARE the Episcopal Diocese of San Joaquin, and although we are currently without a bishop, we have godly clergy to lead us and courageous laity eager to carry on the Great Commission.

We are with you. Thank you for your faith, and for your courage.

Praying, always.

You are very welcome--and I like your new "welcome" sign.

May God keep you in strength, wisdom, and peace. Please let us outside your diocese know how we can help you.

You were in our prayers this morning at a retreat in Albuquerque and will remain in mine.

May the deep peace of Christ, the Spirit's power, and God's abiding presence sustain you, and may Episcopalians everywhere stand with you not only in word but in deed.

I'm wresting with the idea that my next mission field may be San Joaquin.
You are in our prayers. I really don't think that the people in the pews agree with their clergy.

They have two months to come to their senses.

¿So, were services throughout the diocese held in español esta mañana?

aghaveagh, I am praying for your congregations and I'm glad you did not leave with them...

I'm not episcopalian, so I don't fully understand what is going on, but I know it's sad.

Just a quick note to say we didn't stop praying when last weekend ended.

And we, are still here. (If you're on Facebook, I started a cause.

Many people support you. And we will continue to.
