Agha, I see that you like to post on the feast days. I do it, too, sometimes, but those posts never draw comments. However, I see by my stat counter that folks go to read them, and that's enough. Besides, I like to post them.
My name comes from the Irish Achadh-beithe, meaning "birch-tree field." It's not so hard to pronounce if you remember that the gh combination is silent, and that the diphthong ea is like the "a" in pan. So my name is pronounced something like "Ah-va" with the accent on the first syllable.

Pretty much I post here so I can remember things I've read, quotes I like, and recipes....I don't really think anyone reads them but that's all right.
